About Mr. Sefatsa Seleso

Mr. Sefatsa Seleso serves as Treasurer of the Centre for Development in Social Justice (CDSJ) and brings strong experience in banking, financial management, client relationship management, compliance, and organisational financial oversight. He is a detail-oriented finance professional with a solid grounding in financial forecasting, expenditure control, reconciliations, internal controls, and the preparation of financial information that supports sound decision-making and institutional accountability.

Over the course of his career, he has held progressively responsible roles at Nedbank Lesotho, including Client Verification Officer, Bank Teller, Personal Banker, and currently Transactional Banking Manager, where he manages and grows client portfolios, drives business development, supports onboarding and after-sales service, monitors financial targets, and ensures compliance with legal, risk, and regulatory requirements.

His professional experience is further strengthened by part-time accounting work with Eco-Culture, where he was responsible for documenting financial transactions, completing payroll and budgeting functions, reconciling cash and bank records, and preparing tax-related documentation, giving him practical exposure to day-to-day accounting operations and financial controls.

In addition to his formal banking and accounting roles, Mr. Seleso has served as Treasurer of Men and Boys for Gender Equality since October 2022, where he advises management on significant expenditures, plans annual budgets, tracks expenses, investigates discrepancies, reconciles monthly statements and invoices, and undertakes financial due diligence to maintain sound organisational finances. At CDSJ, he brings disciplined financial judgment, operational reliability, and a growing record of governance support.
