Mr. Relebohile Elias Tsoamotse

Mr. Relebohile Elias Tsoamotse serves as Communications and Public Engagement Manager at the Centre for Development in Social Justice (CDSJ) and brings a strong and steadily rising profile in strategic communications, media relations, public engagement, journalism, and institutional visibility. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Professional Communication and a Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication, both completed with distinction.

Over the course of his career, he has built experience across journalism, public relations, marketing, teaching, and organisational communications, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex institutional priorities into clear, compelling, and credible public messaging. He recently served as Membership, Marketing and Communications Manager at the Lesotho Copyright Society of Authors and Artists, where he led membership mobilisation, media relations, stakeholder communication, brand reputation management, public awareness efforts, and documentation systems.

His professional background also includes service as Desk Manager in the newsroom of Public Eye Newspapers, where he supervised editorial workflows, managed social media and content distribution, edited articles, mentored journalists and interns, and supported stakeholder liaison. Earlier roles as Senior Reporter, correspondent, and trainee journalist grounded his strengths in storytelling, editorial coordination, public communication, and relationship-building with media and public audiences.

In addition to his industry practice, he serves as a part-time lecturer in Media Studies at the Institute of Extra Mural Studies, where he contributes to teaching, course development, and research supervision, reinforcing his growing profile in communication leadership, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing. At CDSJ, he brings a valuable combination of media intelligence, strategic messaging capacity, public-facing professionalism, and institutional communications discipline.
